MS Excel Secrets - Altering Tab Colour in Excel 2003

Click on the tab(s) of the worksheets you want to re-colour. 
To select more than one tab hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and click on each tab with the mouse pointer.
  1. Choose Format > Sheet > Tab Color to display theFormat Tab Color Palette.
  2. Pick a color.
  3. Click OK.

Changing the Tab Color of One Worksheet:

For help with this example see the image above.
Right click on the tab of the worksheet you want to re-color to open the drop down menu.
Select Tab Color in the menu list to open the color palette.

Pick a color for the worksheet tab. If you don't find a color you like, click on More Colors at the bottom of the color palette to open the Custom Color Palette.

Changing the Tab Color of Multiple Worksheets:

Note: All of the selected worksheet tabs will be the same color.

To select more than one worksheet tab, hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and click on each tab with the mouse pointer.
Right click on one of the selected worksheet tabs to open the drop down menu.
Select Tab Color in the menu list to open the color palette.
Pick a color for the worksheet tab. If you don't find a color you like, click on More Colorsat the bottom of the color palette to the Custom Color Palette.
